The Little Society That Could
Make sure to join us at our next critique night!
The After Thought Art Society is now wrapping up its third year of activity. Many of the initial projects are still being carried out:- monthly critique nights are being held;
- the newsletter is being published quarterly;
- social gatherings for members are frequently organized;
- the postcard exchange project is still on-going
In the past two years, the society has not only maintained the above, but has also begun several new initiatives, including:
- a society blog;
- an online events page;
- an online gallery showcasing membership work;
One of the best achievements has been the growth of our membership base, which may still appear small, but it has increased each year. So, yay!! And At-Arts has developed some vital connections with two fellow Calgary art societies, EMMEDIA and Untitled, with whom we have been able to carrying out joint crit nights. Make sure to join us at our next critique!
